He boasts a career as a music production teacher at Sound Ninja Academy, and the owner of the Sound In Picture multimedia label. With such a complimentary rolodex of skills, it's no wonder that his latest incoming release, Ascension, is such a significant and wide-reaching collection of tracks. As such, The Rust is incredibly excited to premiere the song "Labyrinths” ahead of the full Ascension release.

With a penchant for head-nod sensibilities and palatable grooves, the Colorado-based producer Kuhlin has gradually developed his sound and style in a particular flavorful lane. Branching off from the calmer iterations of his sound and style, the forthcoming Bionetworks EP features his most abstract and verbose palette to date. Dialing in on the relationship between impact and groove, Airstrike and Lyndon Jarr bring their assortment of individual strengths and flavors to the table in The Rust’s latest premiere, “Inside Your Mind”. With a notable bent for sculpted noise and homogenous blends, Joro Dudovski is at the forefront of an emergent fusion of precision engineering and freeform arrangements, taking advantage of compositional risks every step of the way. Serving up scintillating portions of emulsified and emotive system music, the Colorado-based producer Dillard has steadily redefined the meaning of “rocky mountain high”; through careful attention to clarity and composition, he’s suffused a panoply of styles and modes into a catalog of tracks designed to carry impact while balancing a vibe. In anticipation of the release of his Unfolding EP through SmallPrint Recordings, the Rust took advantage of the opportunity to premiere the effusive track “Jimmy”.

Based out of Portland, Oregan, the producer and multi-instrumentalist Devin Kroes has spent the last six years and counting tapping into a variety of psybient styles across a choice collection of tracks. Ahead of his Breathe EP release through the Danktronics platform, the Rust was given the opportunity to premiere the effusive track “Bloom”, featuring the soul-drenched sax lines of ST4RFOX.

Sanctuary Collective has their finger squarely on the global pulse of novel electronic music producers. Their sophomore compilation, Warriors Vol. 2, features a host of burgeoning talent and underground heavy hitters, and they've provided The Rust with the opportunity to premiere Velour and Joro Dudovski's collaboration, “Dandelion”.

Hullabalo0’s catalog is the product of a consistent, dedicated passion within the nebula of low end sound design and groove theory. After nearly a year of audio experiments and an powerful growth in compositional scope, he’s prepped to unveil the Habaneuro LP, with The Rust being given the opportunity to premiere the album’s namesake track.

Poztman’s stylized brand of dark, tech-heavy electronic production has earned him a mainstay position in the world of avant-garde and experimental music. In an ever-lasting quest to push his own conceptual boundaries, he’s partnered up with the hybrid label Outtallectuals to present his latest laboratory payload; Rites of Calling. In anticipation of the full EP release, The Rust has been given the opportunity to premiere the track “Ancestral Data (Rite of Cunning)”, loosening the seal on this new suite of compositions.

Voljum’s debut EP cyberglobe put a laser focus on the intersection between jazz, sound design, and intuitive sample play, solidifying his unique production narrative. Looking to merge new perspectives with his high fidelity palette, cyberglobe (Remixes) makes landfall at the end of this week, and The Rust has been tapped to premiere the Smigonaut remix of “Electric Forces”

Switching gears after the release of the collaborative EP Illuminations, the Nashville-based producer Waterchild bears his sharpened edges and refined sonic palette on Perennials. Prior to the EP’s release tomorrow, the track “Smokin” is premiering alongside a dedicated music video, courtesy of Earl Kelly of MetaNoia, utilizing visual assets from UON Visuals.

After the release of Impressions and Premonitions in 2016 and 2017, respectively, the Nashville-based producers Waterchild and Space Cadet cap their collaborative trilogy of mystic downtempo EPs with Illuminations, dropping tomorrow. The multi-dimensional and aqueous single “Flabber Ghasted” premieres today preceding the full EP.

Imminent by Losion, the latest release from UK collective Outtalectuals, exists at the intersection of chugging guitars and IDM sound design. Occasionally using the label “neurohop” to describe his sonic experiments, Ludovic Delespierre (Losion) is more notable for his guitar playing and use of crash cymbals than this genre tag might imply, Here is an invitation to dive deep into the most sedate of the five songs from Imminent, “Swarm”.

Coming in at just under nine minutes, and missing the traditional whizzes, bops, and bright colors that entice bass music listeners, “Cage of Glass” is an enchanting electronic bass ballad that finds Maxfield again out on an artistic limb.

From the first guitar lick plucked by Niclas Knudsen, one can hear the West African influence in “Mama Ngoma”, the title track off the upcoming EP from Danish band Kalaha which arrives October 29th on Rump Recordings, the imprint founded and managed by producer and Kalaha synth player Rumpistol. The premiere of “Mama Ngoma” is accompanied by far out animated music video, directed by Zven Balslev.
