Rusted Rhythms Vol. 11 - griff

Today we have something incredibly special to share with you all; The 11th installment of the Rusted Rhythm series, featuring griff.

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, griff is quite the prolific musician. Most known for his original acoustic-driven composition, he is also a DJ and a talented guitar player who has performed throughout Australia and the US. His electronic compositions are often infused with his stringwork, a style he has become well known for. His music tends to lean on the downtempo to midtempo side of things, although he is versatile with pace as a producer and DJ - and this mix brilliantly showcases that.

We won’t reveal too much, as the mix speaks for itself, but it is an impeccable journey through an extensive range of styles and feels, each with a World music influence like much of griff's own productions.

In addition, griff is one half of Dersu Uzala, a side project he created with his brother. This mix features unreleased music from the pair. Incredibly hyped to announce Rusted Rhythms Vol. 2, which features a new mix from Foxtail. An incredibly diverse blend of downtempo, IDM, glitch, psychedelic bass, ambient... the list goes on. This mix is a mysterious journey into the mind of the vulpine soundsifter, littered with obscure, thought-provoking samples, eerily vast soundscapes, and some of the squelchiest gurgles to ever bless the airwaves.
