Rocking a steady tempo and a hip-hop gait, “Time” is tuned strictly for shredding speaker cones. Mottled, brackish textures and faint melodic elements set the stage for multiple dives into full-throttle breakdowns of both the half-time and DnB variety. Brutal bass lines switch gears between heavily processed patches, crushing the frequency spectrum with eager bass weight. It's the first glimpse into a four track exploration of bass music's rugged underground profile, and the rest is just around the corner.
